Motorola today launched its mid-range flip foldable – the Moto Razr 60 – in India. The phone features pretty much all the same specifications as we had earlier mentioned in our Razr 60 expectations article, and it’s come in at an even better price than I thought.
Moto Razr 60 Specs and Features
In terms of numbers, the Moto razr 60 brings in a 6.9-inch FullHD+ pOLED foldable main screen with HDR10+ support, LTPO support, 3000 nits of peak brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate. On the outside, the cover display is a 3.6-inch pOLED screen with HDR 10 support and 90Hz refresh rate. Plus, since the external screen doesn’t flip or fold, it’s been given Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
In terms of performance, the Razr 60 comes with the Dimensity 7400X processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The RAM and storage aren’t the fastest here with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. That said, Motorola does promise 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches for the phone.
You also get a couple of cameras here. There’s a 50MP primary camera with OIS, and a 13MP ultra-wide angle camera that also doubles up for macro shots. Inside, you get a 32MP selfie shooter, although you could just use the primary camera with the external screen for taking selfies.
The phone itself is fairly well-weighted at 188g, and is also 7.25mm thin when unfolded, which is pretty good. Folded up, it goes to 15.85mm in thickness which is quite a bit, but the overall footprint of the Razr 60 is quite small so it shouldn’t feel that bulky. You also get IP48 ingress protection rating here so it can handle minor splashes.
Moto Razr 60 Price and Availability
The Moto Razr 60 has been priced at ₹49,999 for the single 8GB/256GB option that’s available to purchase. The phone will go on sale from June 4, and will be available exclusively on Flipkart.
