You Get 7 New Ringtones in iOS 26

Apple is adding a surprisingly personal touch to iOS 26 with a set of new ringtones that go beyond the familiar Reflection tone. Beta 6 introduces six fresh versions called Buoyant, Dreamer, Tech, Pop, Reflected, and Surge. Each has its own vibe while still paying homage to the original melody. Reflected is actually a callback, matching the “Alt 1” ringtone that first appeared in Beta 2. On top of that, Apple has added an entirely new ringtone called Little Bird, which stands apart from the Reflection family altogether.

Reflection remains the default, so if you want to try the new sounds, you will need to switch manually. Just head into Settings, open Sounds and Haptics, tap Ringtone, and pick the one you like.

What makes this update interesting is how such a small change reflects Apple’s broader design philosophy. These additions might seem minor, but they bring personality to the device. Whether Apple intended them to feel cinematic, playful, or futuristic, each new tone feels like an intentional step toward giving users more ways to express themselves through sound.

This is part of a larger pattern in iOS 26. Apple is not only working on visual updates and core features, it is also refining the small details that make the overall experience feel personal. Changing what your phone sounds like is one of those subtle touches that can make it feel more uniquely yours.

In the end, this may not be a headline feature, but it is quietly meaningful. Ringtones shape the way you interact with your device every day. With these new additions, Apple has given users another simple way to make their iPhone feel more customized and more personal.
