Gemini Live can Now Access Keep, Calendar, and More

Gemini Live just became way smarter. Google has quietly rolled out integration with Calendar, Keep, Tasks—and yes, Maps—so your real-time AI chat can now tap directly into first-party apps.

At I/O 2025, Google teased that Gemini Live would handle logistics like creating calendar events, setting reminders, or adding notes. Now, that promise is landing. Invoke Gemini Live, and you’ll see a chip with the app icon floating above the full-screen controls, showing it’s pulling data. Ask it to “create a calendar event tomorrow at 9,” and just like that, it does—with an undo option if you change your mind.

The rollout started late June and has been slow to expand, but now appears widely available on both Android (stable and beta Google app) and iOS devices. On Samsung phones, Gemini Live goes even further—accessing the stock Calendar, Notes, and Reminders apps for a seamless experience across platforms.

This shift transforms Gemini Live from a curiosity into a functional assistant. It’s no longer just a multi-modal chat—you can now treat it like a helper that actually does things for you. Spot a date in your camera view? Gemini Live can capture it and automatically slot it into your schedule. Need to jot down an idea? Say the word, and Keep gets updated. Looking for a place? Ask for recommendations, and Maps steps in with live suggestions.

The integration feels polished and intentional, like Google wanted Gemini Live to finally pull its weight—no typing, no app-switching—just a fluid, hands-free workflow that saves time.

Bottom line: Gemini Live is leveling up. It’s not just talking anymore—it’s managing your day.
