I’m Akshay, a technology professional and CS graduate based in New Delhi with over 10 years of experience in the tech industry. I’ve spent that time working with technology professionally, reviewing gadgets, and following the consumer electronics space closely enough to know when a spec sheet is telling the truth and when it isn’t.

I started 8BitToast because I wanted a publication that treated its readers as intelligent adults — one that explains the why behind tech news, gives honest verdicts on products, and writes guides that actually work. The name is a nod to the 8-bit era, when technology was just beginning to become fun, and to the warmth of something simple done well.

When I’m not writing here, I’m likely tearing apart a new Android build, stress-testing a camera phone, or keeping tabs on what’s coming out of Cupertino and Mountain View.
