How to Do a Boomerang on Snapchat

Snapchat looks simple, but the app does have a lot of features. If you’ve only ever used the main camera screen to click snaps and send them over to your friends, you probably don’t know about a lot of the cool things Snap can do: for example, Boomerangs. Well, here’s how to do a boomerang on Snapchat.

It’s actually very easy to make a boomerang video on Snapchat and send it to your friends, download it to your iPhone, or even add it to your story. Here’s what you need to do.

  • Open the Snapchat app and record a video by pressing and holding the shutter button. Then, scroll through the items on the right until you see Snap Timer.

  • Tap on it and cycle through the options until it says “Bounce“. You can then select a section of your video to make a Boomerang

That’s it. The Boomerang live preview is shown on your screen right away, so you can make sure the loop is perfectly the way you want it to be before sending it to your friends, or adding it to your story.

Once you’ve made the boomerang, you can choose to either:

  • Send it to friends
  • Download it to your phone
  • Add it to your story

Well, that’s basically everything you need to know about making a Boomerang on Snapchat. The feature is quite easy to use, except for the fact that most people don’t really explore all the options Snapchat offers. Hopefully, our guide was able to help you.
