iPhones are fairly feature packed, but there are a bunch of hidden iPhone settings that can really make your iPhone a whole lot better. Here are 4 hidden iPhone settings you should change right now.
1. Reduce Motion
If your iPhone feels a little slow or sluggish, this setting can make it feel faster. Just go to Settings -> Accessibility -> Motion -> Reduce Motion
Turn on the toggle next to Reduce Motion and you’re good to go. iPhone will turn off parallax animations and it will feel a bit faster.
2. Back Tap
This one is a bit more familiar to most people. However, a lot of people have never heard of it, so it’s important to mention it anyway.
Just go to Settings -> Accessibility -> Touch -> Back Tap and configure the double-tap and triple-tap functions to pretty much anything you want.
You can choose to launch camera, take a screenshot, and do a whole lot more.
3. Announce Notifications
If you’re like me, you often have your AirPods plugged in and your phone lying somewhere far away from you. So when a notification comes in, you are likely gonna miss it. This feature fixes that.
Just go to Settings -> Notifications -> Announce Notifications and enable the feature.
Then you can turn individual apps on/off for the notification announcements and when a notification comes in while your AirPods are connected, Siri will announce the notification without you having to even touch your phone.
4. Offload Unused Apps
If you’re constantly running out of iPhone storage, this feature is gonna be a lifesaver for you.
Just go to Settings -> Apps -> App Store and turn on the Offload Unused Apps toggle.
Your iPhone will automatically remove apps that you haven’t used in a long time, but it will not delete their data. So you can reinstall them whenever you need, and it will be as if they were never deleted in the first place.
These are the four most useful hidden iPhone settings that you should definitely check out. Which one did you find the most useful? Let me know in the comments.
