OnePlus has today launched the Ace 6 smartphone in China. The successor to the Ace 5 from last year comes with seriously impressive specs, and a solid price tag to match.
Up front, the Ace 6 features a 6.83-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 5000 nits. Plus, it also comes with an in-display 3D fingerprint scanner for security. The phone also boasts IP66 + IP68 + IP69 rating and weighs 213 grams.
Under the hood, users will get the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset coupled with 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. OnePlus has also chucked in the G2 gaming chip for improved performance in games and graphically intensive tasks.

On the camera front, the phone packs in a dual rear camera with a 50MP primary camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. Plus there’s a 16MP selfie shooter on the front.
Powering everything is a 7800mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. However, the OnePlus Ace 6 does not support wireless charging.
In China, the Ace 6 is priced starting at CNY 2599 (~Rs. 32,000) for the base 12GB/256GB variant. Pricing for the other variants is set as follows:
- 16GB/256GB: CNY 2899
- 12GB/512GB: CNY 3099
- 16GB/512GB: CNY 3399
- 16GB/1TB: CNY 3899 (~Rs. 48,000)
The phone will be available to buy starting from October 30.
