OnePlus has given us a first look at the Ace 6, and the design teaser already shows a bold evolution. The rear reveals confirm a dual-camera setup instead of the triple array used in the previous model, signaling a shift in how OnePlus is thinking about optics.
The camera island is now more minimal. The LED flash sits inside a pill-shaped cutout rather than circling the lenses. The back also changes in texture depending on the color option. The Quicksilver variant features a textured racetrack style with bold “Ace” branding, while Black and Flash White versions stick to matte finishes.

Under the hood, leaks point to impressive specs. It’s expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and carry a massive 7,800 mAh battery—much larger than its predecessor. The display is rumored to be a flat 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and fast charging may remain at 120W via USB-C. OnePlus is also expected to ship it with ColorOS 16 out of the box.

The initial reveal also confirms that the Ace 6 is launching in China on October 27, 2025, alongside the OnePlus 15. Outside China it’s expected to appear as the OnePlus 15r in select markets. If OnePlus keeps the pricing reasonable, this model could hit the sweet spot for users seeking flagship features without going all in on ultra-premium pricing.

In short, the Ace 6 teaser shows OnePlus is refining rather than overhauling. The design is cleaner, the camera setup more intentional, and the power specs ambitious. If the leaks prove accurate, the Ace 6 could turn out to be one of OnePlus’s most balanced flagships yet.
