Redmi has confirmed that the K90 Pro Max will launch in China on October 23, 2025. The event is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM CST (that’s 4:30 PM in India), setting the stage for Redmi’s boldest “K” series phone yet.
The teaser image released alongside the announcement already offers a few surprises. We see a Golden White colorway and a slim, rounded design with ultra-narrow bezels. Most striking is the rear camera module—the phones houses a horizontal camera bar with a built-in Bose-tuned speaker embedded right beside the lenses. This is the first time Redmi has paired with Bose in this series and it signals they’re emphasizing media quality along with optics.
Redmi describes the camera enclosure as a “volcanic crater” design, giving the module a dramatic, premium look. The move away from dual screen setups, as seen in Xiaomi’s recent flagships, is clear. A single main display plus this bold camera design feels more unified and intentional.

Under the hood, rumor suggests the phone will run on a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset while the standard K90 and K90 Pro may stick with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Many core specs are still under wraps, but leaks hint that the Pro Max could introduce new imaging and performance upgrades that set it apart.
With the launch just days away, more teasers are expected. Redmi will likely drop further hints about display specs, battery capacity, charging speeds, memory and storage tiers. If the Bose audio partnership holds up in testing, this could be one of the first “sound-aware” flagships from Redmi.
Mark your calendar. On October 23, we’ll get the full reveal—design, specs, pricing—everything that turns teaser hype into tangible device experience.
