Xiaomi 15T Series Launch Set for September 24

Xiaomi has officially set the global launch date for its much-anticipated 15T series, so keep September 24 locked on your calendar for the launch event. The announcement arrives with a hint of that Leica-branded triple camera module in a teaser image, signaling that photography will be front and center for this rollout.

The lineup is expected to include the Xiaomi 15T and a more powerful 15T Pro. Rumors suggest the regular 15T will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chip, while the Pro could be powered by a faster Dimensity 9400+ processor. Early leaks also point to both models featuring a 6.83-inch OLED display, likely flat and refreshing at either 120 or 144 Hz.

As for the camera specs, we’re expecting to see a 50-megapixel wide shooter, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto unit. On the 15T Pro the telephoto camera could be a periscope-style setup with around 5x optical zoom. A 32-megapixel front camera completes the optics for the smartphones.

Battery size seems generous with both models tipped to pack a large — around 5,500 mAh — cell. Fast charging speeds should vary, with 67W support on the base model and faster 90W charging on the Pro. Add to that IP69 protection and 12 GB of RAM with 256 GB storage as standard, and you’ve got a lineup that matches premium hardware expectations at a more accessible price point.

With an efficient launch strategy and competitive features, the Xiaomi 15T series may very well set a new benchmark for what value-driven flagships can deliver. If you’re browsing for a phone that balances camera chops, performance, and battery muscle, keep an eye out at the end of September.
