Pixel Watch 4 Leaks in New “Official Looking” Renders

Nothing major visually may be changing with Google’s Pixel Watch 4, but newly surfaced renders (link) suggest a fresh palette and updated bands that inject renewed personality into the wearable. Available in both 41mm and 45mm sizes, the watch cases reportedly come in four finishes: Black, Silver, Gold, and a new Moonstone option, which replaces the darker green shade from last year.

On the strap side, Google seems to be doing a complete color refresh. The Active Band — crafted in a new, softer-feel material — comes in Obsidian, Porcelain, and Moonstone. Sport-oriented bands appear in Indigo, Limoncello, and Iris. Stretch bands remain exclusive to the smaller 41mm version, retaining the same minimalist, flexible fit as before.

Design-wise, the case approach remains faithful to its predecessor: round edges, proprietary lugs, and barely thinner bezels than last year. If there are any trimming changes, they’re minimal. The newer renders only offer a glimpse, but the focus seems more on personalization than redesign.

Charging got a noticeable update too. Google has shifted the charging contacts from the back to the left edge, introducing a pill-shaped side charger with two pins. Claims suggest charging speeds are up to 25% faster than the previous generation, and the new dock should deliver better bedside usability — though not a return to full wireless charging.

All told, what stands out most is how Pixel Watch 4 leans into a broader aesthetic appeal without reworking its signature design: new colors, flexible bands, and a redesigned charger that both ups charging speed and makes life easier on nightstands. It’s a small scale update, but it shows Google listened to style and usability feedback rather than chasing radical hardware changes. If you loved the Pixel Watch 3’s design but craved more color options and faster charging, this iteration seems built just for you.
