5 Best Wireless Chargers for iPhone SE (2020)

If you just bought the recently launched iPhone SE (2020), chances are you already know a lot of the cool things about this phone — one of which is the wireless charging support. Now I know, some of you may be wondering what’s the point of wireless charging when you have to connect the charging pad to the power outlet anyway. The thing is, wireless charging makes it very easy to charge your iPhone. Just place your phone on the pad and that’s it. When you need to use it, you don’t have to fumble with wires, just pick it up and start using it. It’s awesome. So, if you are looking to buy a Qi compatible wireless charging mat, here are the best iPhone SE wireless chargers.

1. Mophie Wireless Charging Pad

The absolute best wireless charging pad you can buy for the iPhone SE, is this one from Mophie. This wireless charger has been built specifically with Apple, and can wirelessly charge your iPhone SE at 7.5W. Other third-party wireless chargers can only charge iPhones at 5W, so if you want a faster charging experience, this is the charger to go with.

The charger can charge all your wireless charging-compatible Apple devices, including your AirPods, and it looks very sleek as well.

2. Anker PowerWave

Honestly, $40 is a tad much for a wireless charger, and if you’re looking for something more affordable but still from a reputable brand, the Anker PowerWave might be just what you’re looking for. The wireless charger can charge your devices at up to 10W. However, it will charge the iPhone SE at 5W only, since Apple has set that limit on wireless chargers not sold via Apple (like the Mophie charger mentioned above).

3. TOZO W1

If looks matter to you, check this out. The Tozo W1 wireless charger is one of the best looking wireless chargers I have ever seen. It comes in a sleek design and a bunch of classic colours. Plus the glossy finish really makes this wireless charger stand out in the best way possible.

The Tozo W1 supports charging up to 10W as well, and the company claims it can charge iPhones up to 7.5W. Plus if you also have a Samsung flagship, this charger can fast-charge that at 10W, which is great. It also comes with built-in protection against over charging, over current, and over heating.

4. Anker PowerWave Stand

If you’re like many of my friends, you probably would like a wireless charger that you can keep on your desk and still be able to check your notifications without having to peek above your phone; or maybe you want to make some FaceTime calls while your phone charges. Whatever the reason, the Anker PowerWave stand is the solution. This wireless Qi charger comes with support for charging devices at up to 10W, and it can charge your iPhone at 5W.

The stand also supports landscape charging, so if you’re watching a movie you can place your phone in landscape orientation and it will still get charged! Awesome right? Plus, Anker offers a worry-free 18 month warranty on this charger so you can rest easy.

5. QI-EU Charging Station

For folks who are deep into the Apple ecosystem of devices, this Qi-Eu charging station is a good way to spend some money. The charging station comes with a wireless charging pad for your iPhone, a charging spot for your Apple Watch, a charger for your AirPods (or AirPods Pro), and even a charging dock for the Apple Pencil (1st generation).

The listing claims it can charge your iPhone wirelessly at 7.5W, but I’m fairly certain it’s going to charge at 5W — which is still nice. The charging station also comes with ample safeguards to protect your gadgets from overcurrent, over voltage, and over heating.

BONUS: Aukey Wireless Power Bank

If you’re buying wireless chargers, why not buy a power bank with wireless charging capability as well? The Aukey wireless power bank comes with support for wired charging at up to 18W with power delivery, which is what the iPhone needs for fast charging. Plus, as the name suggests you can just place your iPhone SE on top of the power bank and it will start charging it wirelessly, which is just super cool.

The power bank comes with an 8,000mAh battery, which means it can charge your iPhone SE over 4 to 5 times taking into account loss of energy as well.

So those were the best wireless chargers for iPhone SE that I think you guys should consider buying. Personally, I would get a simple charging pad for the iPhone SE instead of something like the Mophie wireless charger that’s priced at a whopping $40 because I don’t really need 7.5W charging. Most of the time I place my iPhone XR on the charger overnight and for that, 5W is more than enough (by the way, check out our comparison between the iPhone SE vs iPhone XR). That said, which iPhone wireless charger are you planning on buying? Let me know in the comments.
